Banana Nut Bread Recipe


This is such a rich, delicious and tasty bread! It is quickly prepared and loved by all.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F or 180C.
  2. Beat the sugar and butter until well blended. Add the eggs, one after the other, beating well after each addition. Add the sour cream and banana.
  3. Whisk together the salt, baking soda, cinnamon and flour.
  4. Add the mixture to the butter mixture and stir until moist. Add ½ cup of walnuts.
  5. Transfer to a greased 9x5 pan. Sprinkle with other nuts if desired.
  6. Cook for 50-60 minutes. Allow to cool before transferring to the grill.
