Ingredients:
- Coarse Sugar or Chocolate Chips 1 cup
- Additional Walnuts as you like
- Walnuts (chopped) ½ cup
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- All-purpose Flour 2 ¼ cups
- Baking Soda ¾ teaspoon
- Sour Cream ½ cup
- Ripe Banana (mashed) ¾ cup
- Large Eggs (room temperature) 2
- Sugar ¾ cup
- Butter (softened) ¼ cup
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F or 180C.
- Beat the sugar and butter until well blended. Add the eggs, one after the other, beating well after each addition. Add the sour cream and banana.
- Whisk together the salt, baking soda, cinnamon and flour.
- Add the mixture to the butter mixture and stir until moist. Add ½ cup of walnuts.
- Transfer to a greased 9x5 pan. Sprinkle with other nuts if desired.
- Cook for 50-60 minutes. Allow to cool before transferring to the grill.
